Planned Giving

Leave a Legacy for Signature Theatre

Did you know it is possible to support Signature Theatre through your will or IRA?

Please help us sustain the work that we do by arranging planning a gift for Signature. Your generosity will enable theatergoers to enjoy shows at Signature well into the future and will help us continue to offer in-depth education programs that directly benefit area high school students. If you choose to include Signature in your estate plans, please let us know so we can thank you personally for making such a vital and important commitment to Signature Theatre.

Making Signature a beneficiary of your retirement plan is both tax efficient and as easy as changing the beneficiary form with your IRA administrator and designating Signature Theatre as a primary, contingent or partial beneficiary.

Alternatively you can make a bequest through your will, codicil or trust. Here is an example:
I, [insert your name], bequeath the sum of [insert monetary sum or percentage of my residuary estate] to Signature Theatre, 4200 Campbell Ave, Arlington, VA 22206,
Tax ID # 62-1417785

Ever After Society

Signature’s Ever After Society honors individuals that have chosen to arrange a planned gift with a value of $5,000 or above. Benefits are life-long and begin as soon as you notify us of your gift and send a copy of the documentation that mentions Signature Theatre.

Benefits include invitations to behind-the-scenes events including an annual appreciation event, the First Glimpse for each show (an in-depth preview from the director about their vision for the production), and Up Next: The Making of a Theater Season (the season announcement of shows for the upcoming season). You will also be recognized an Ever After Society member in all of Signature’s mainstage programs.

Thank you for considering a gift to support Signature’s future!
