Virtual Class for Teens: Directing 101

Ever want to be in the director’s chair? This hands-on course designed specifically for high school students will guide young, aspiring directors through a greater understanding of the director’s role. Led by Signature’s Director of Education David Zobell, this four-session course will cover analyzing a text, developing a unifying vision for a show, and how to communicate in a way that invites collaboration and excitement from everyone working on a production.
No previous directing experience required or expected. Basic theater experience and knowledge (performing or technical) is a pre-requisite from all participants. Students are expected to attend all four sessions.
Masterclass will take place over Zoom.
Registration will close at 6PM the day of the event.
