In Signature’s production of The Scottsboro Boys tap is a key part of the show’s storytelling. Come to our FREE tap workshop where cast member DeWitt Fleming, Jr demonstrates how the creative team is interpreting this important story through dance. Then you can join the action! DeWitt will walk you through different tap rhythms and styles and teach a short combination. All levels are welcome, and if you don’t have tap shoes, don’t worry – just bring your enthusiasm and love of dance.
DeWitt Fleming, Jr has danced with Riverdance, Wynton Marsalis, Cirque Du Soleil, and Signature’s production of Jelly’s Last Jam – now you can learn to tap with him!
