Out of respect for the nation’s deep unrest in light of violence against members of the Black community, we have canceled this week’s episode of Signature Strong – Live!. Each week we try to bring a bit of joy and celebration into everyone’s homes with the show and now is not a moment to celebrate.
Signature is reflecting on the role our theater plays in our community, and on how we can do more to be anti-racist – as people and as a company. We want to do more. We must do more.
We know that we must educate ourselves and listen to our artists, staff, audiences, and members of the community whose voices have been marginalized for far too long, especially people of color.
We are heartbroken. We stand with the Black community.
