General Ticket Policies

  • No one younger than 6 years old will be admitted into the theatre.
  • Since our theatres are flexible black box spaces, our seating configurations change from show to show. Click here to see this season's seating charts.
  • Performances begin on time. Late seating is at the discretion of the House Managers, and patrons may have to wait several minutes before being admitted for an appropriate break in the action. Patrons who arrive late may be sat in different locations from their original seats.
  • The house opens approximately 30 minutes before curtain for seating.
  • Signature charges a $7 ticketing fee per ticket for single tickets to mainstage performances and a $5 ticketing fee per ticket for cabaret performances purchased online or by phone. No fee is charged for a single ticket purchased in person at the Box Office.
  • All package purchases incur a $10 ticketing fee per package, regardless of the method of purchase.

Ticket Return and Exchange Policy

Signature understands that life gets in the way and strives to be flexible with our ticketing policies – we want to ensure your peace of mind when purchasing tickets. While tickets are final sale and may not be returned, we do offer advance ticket exchanges for both subscribers and single ticket purchasers. Additionally, we offer Ticket Refund Protection for an additional fee that protects against missed performances due to illness, accidents and more.

Tickets may only be exchanged into the same production and are based on availability if the exchange is completed in advance of the performance (see below for specific deadline policies for subscribers and single ticket buyers).

Tickets may not be exchanged after the performance has passed as we are then unable to re-sell the seat to another guest. If the performance/seat being exchanged to is more expensive than the original ticket, the difference in price must be paid.

Refund Protection

Signature offers optional Ticket Refund Protection for an additional fee during checkout with our partner Secure My Booking. By adding this to your order, you can safeguard yourself against unforeseen circumstances that cause you to miss your performance including accidents, illness (including COVID), severe weather, traffic/road closures, public transit failures and more!

Prior to purchasing ticket protection, please read the terms and conditions which explain what is covered, the documentation required and the timeline for submitting a claim to Secure My Booking. Note: the fee for the ticket protection is non-refundable, even if you receive a refund for your missed performance.

Subscriber Exchange Policy

Subscribers may exchange tickets without any handling fees up to the day of the performance if any member of the party is feeling ill.

Call the Box Office at 703.820.9771 or login to your account on the website to exchange your tickets. Please contact us by noon for an evening performance or noon for a matinee performance so we can process your ticket changes before the show.

Single Ticket Exchange Policy

Tickets may be exchanged for a nominal fee of $5 per ticket up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled performance.

Call the Box Office at 703.820.9771 or login to your account on the website to exchange your tickets.
