The popular Dance Class series returns! Choreographer Sarah Laughland teaches a fun and energetic dance class series for all levels. Move and groove to some of your favorite musical theater songs in this one hour sweat-sesh.

Age 18+. No experience required!

Class Schedule

October 1 - Chess
- Shoe recommendation: Character heels

October 8 - Something Rotten!
- Shoe recommendation: Sneakers or heels

October 15 - Annie
- Shoe recommendation: Character heels

October 22 - 9 to 5
- Shoe recommendation: Character heels or sneakers

October 29 - Beetlejuice
- Shoe recommendation: Sneakers or heels

November 5 - Moulin Rouge
- Shoe recommendation: Character heels

Important Information

  • Tuition

    Tuition is $150 for all six classes, or drop in to a single class for $25. Financial aid is available - click here to apply.

  • Location

    Classes will take place at Signature's Education Studios, located at 2784 S. Arlington, Mill Dr, Arlington, VA 22206.

  • Class Times

    Classes take place on Thursdays, October 1 - November 5; 7 - 8PM

  • Experience

    No experience required! For ages 18+.

Sarah Laughland

Sarah Laughland

Sarah Laughland (she/her) is an educator & performer, who's work revolves around investigating the line between history, body awareness, and storytelling that performers so beautifully walk. She’s taught and choreographed at institutions across the region, including The Washington School of Ballet, Fairfax Fine Arts Academy, DC Jazz in the Garden, Perfect Pointe, Barter Theatre, Theatre Lab, Imagination Stage, Levine School of Music, Opera Lafayette, Unity Dance & Movement, Frederick Fine Arts Academy, and Emory & Henry College.  She is a former Resident Acting Company member at Barter Theatre (Abingdon, VA from 2014-2019). Sarah has performed at The Kennedy Center, Theater J, Imagination Stage, Texas Shakespeare Festival, Southern Appalachian Repertory Company, and Dollywood, among others. She’s a current member of the dance company chitra.MOVES, which most recently presented their newest show, VILLAGE STORIES, at the Kennedy Center and Dance Place (Washington, DC). Chitra.MOVES will be taking VILLAGE STORIES on tour during the 2027 Season.
