Choreographer and dancer Nikki Mirza (Round House Theatre’s INK, Olney Theatre Center’s Dance Nation) teaches a fun and energetic dance class series for all levels. Move and groove to some of your favorite musical theater songs in this one hour sweat-sesh. Sign up for the entire series or individually as your schedule permits.

Age 18+. No experience required!

October 30 - The Addams Family Musical
- Shoe recommendation: Sneakers or character heels

November 6 - Soft Power
- Shoe recommendation: Sneakers

November 13 - Hairspray
- Shoe recommendation: Character heels

November 20 - Wicked
- Shoe recommendation: Character heels

December 4 - & Juliet
- Shoe recommendation: Sneakers

December 18 - Kinky Boots
- Shoe recommendation: Heeled boots or heels

Important Information

  • Tuition

    Tuition is $150 for all six classes, or drop in to a single class for $25. Financial aid is available - click here to apply.

  • Location

    Classes will take place at Signature's Education Studios, located at 2784 S. Arlington, Mill Dr, Arlington, VA 22206.

  • Class Times

    Classes take place on Thursdays, October 23 - December 4 (No class November 7); 7 - 8PM

  • Experience

    No experience required! For ages 18+.

Instructor

Nikki Mirza

Nikki Mirza

Nikki is a multi-disciplinary theatre artist originally from Southern California. Her experience as a creative team member and performer deeply influences and informs both her artistry and perspective. As a director and choreographer, movement is a core tenet of her artistic style, so she frequently explores imaginative, physical storytelling in her work. Nikki has collaborated with Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Round House Theatre, Theater J, Imagination Stage, La Jolla Playhouse, Goodspeed Musicals, and more! She is currently an Adjunct Dance Faculty member at The Catholic University of America and American University, having directed and choreographed some of their musicals last season. She believes everyone is a dancer and loves working to help people discover and embrace their own physical storytelling vocabulary.
