This winter, Signature Theatre re-invents the blockbuster musical Les Miserables. Based on Victor Hugo's 1862 classic novel, this beloved show is a sweeping, uplifting, epic saga that has thrilled audeinces throughout the world. The fugitive Jean Valjean, number 24601, is pitted against the tenacious Inspector Javert in a lifelong struggle to evade capture; their high-stakes conflict is a deeply personal tale brought to vivid life against a historical backdrop of unparalleled scale. Packed with show-stopping musical numbers like "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," and "One Day More," this brand-new production features a 28-member cast and a 14-piece orchestra, all in Signature's intimate 280-seat black box theater. This promises to be the musical experience of a lifetime!
