SigWorks in the Schools: Student Playwriting

Continuing Signature’s ongoing commitment to the rising generations of theater artists, SigWorks in the Schools focuses on burgeoning high school playwrights. Exclusively for Arlington Public Schools high school students, five young writers are chosen to go through a 5-session playwriting course led by a professional playwright, culminating in an evening of staged readings performed by professional actors.

Fall 2025 Session Dates

• October 6, 4PM - 5:30PM
• October 14, 4PM - 5:30PM
• October 20, 4PM - 5:30PM
• October 27, 4PM - 5:30PM
• November 3, 4PM - 5:30PM

Performance: November 8

• Show Rehearsal: 1 - 6PM
• Performance: 8 - 9PM

All sessions and performances are held at Signature Theatre Education Studios.
